Medical Mission
The Caribbean Medical Mission is an intricate part of our organisation. A group of medical doctors and health professionals from New Jersey comes to Jamaica once a year to give free medical checkups and medicine.
In 2008 , at the opening of the St. Paul’s Primary School Library , the mission gave free medical attention and medicine to parents, children and teachers. In 2009 the mission served the Portmore community, Georges Plain in Westmoreland and the Negril Community; donating drugs and medication to the Negril Health Centre .
Island-wide Book & Computer Distribution Program
Driven by the motto “ A Book in Every Child’s Hand and A Computer in Every Classroom”; this program was tailored to do just that. In the past five (5) years the organisation has been able to donate over two million books to various schools. Additionally, N.E.E.T received hundreds of computers from offshore contributors that were distributed to schools across the island. N.E.E.T. ‘s Book and Computer Distribution program made it possible to donate libraries to the following schools-
-
St. Paul’s Primary
-
Little London Primary
-
Friendship Primary
-
Sir Clifford Campbell Primary
-
Balaclava Primary
-
Revival All Age
-

Kids-n-KeyboardsProject
This is a revolutionary way of teaching kids to “touch type” with the assistance of a colour coded keyboard.
The keyboard was first introduced in Jamaica in 2008and is being used by the Grange Hill High School. The school was presented with 20 color coded keyboards and lesson plans on how to implement the program.
The colour coded keyboard was founded by Tina Perry and has been implemented into the New York City school system. The program forces students to learn how to type without looking at the keyboard. Other schools have since been chosen to participate in this progam. Once these schools are successful in implementing the program N.E.E.T intends to open the program to other schools in Jamaica that are qualified.
Buy A Brick Campaign
The Buy A Brick Campaign began in 2006 as part of Soul Rebellion; an event that allows Spring Breakers to interact with the community as part of a cultural exchange. During this time the Spring Breakers purchase building blocks. To date a number of schools have benefited from the donations through the Buy A Brick Campaign

Upon completion of the six (6) weeks free computer training graduates were awarded with a computer to teach someone else. N.E.E.T.'s goal is to change the direction of the youths by keeping them occupied and allowing them to embrace the importance of education; steering them away from crime and violence.
Each library is equipped is equipped with one thousand (1000) books and ten (10) computers. The Library serves the school community and community members in general.
